Located in Evanston on the shores of Lake Michigan, this Big Ten Conference member has historically been one of the weaker basketball programs in major college basketball. The Wildcats made their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2017 under coach Chris Collins, breaking a 78-year drought that was the longest in major conference history. The program plays its home games at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
