The program represents the University of Texas at Austin and competes in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) as of 2024, having previously been a member of the Big 12 Conference. The Longhorns have won 28 conference championships and have made numerous NCAA Tournament appearances, including a national championship in 1933 and Final Four appearances in 1943, 1947, and 2003. The team plays its home games at the Moody Center, which opened in 2022.
